Welcome to the on-line PLB Rental store where you can reserve a Personal Locator Beacon for your next outdoor adventure. By providing these pocket sized emergency beacons to you affordably, we hope to significantly reduce the search time in the search and rescue should the need arise.

Being lost or injured in the wilderness is the reason most people need help and why the search and rescue organizations are encouraging the use of PLB's. If you're going out into the wilderness where you or your group may find yourself off the beaten path, please consider using a PLB. It's easy and affordable, just rent one from us for as long as you need. We ship the unit to you based on your reservation request along with instructions and the return shipping container.

PLBs to Rent


	The ACR 406 is a very rugged unit designed for harsh environmental conditions. This unit is ideal for extreme cold or hot weather and weighs 17 ounces. It does not have a built in GPS but does allow for one to be connected to it.
	The second unit, the ACR Terafix is slightly smaller due to newer technology and has a built in GPS. It weighs 12 ounces but is not designed for as harsh weather conditions.
